I've tried running RetroForth on DexOS but there are some problems. The cursor, for example appears some 4 lines above where the text you type actually appears which means when the cursor is near the bottom of the screen you can't see what you type until it scrolls up. Also, when I try to enter a " (double quote) I get an @ and a few spaces instead.
I asked on the DexOS forums and they said that there is an offset for DexOS for where the text appears and thought it would be an easy fix (see the DexOS General forum, search for 'RetroForth'). Not sure about the " thing, though.
Any help appreciated!

I'm no longer using DexOS or working on the RetroForth/4u port. (The entire DexOS project lacks a real direction, and the lack of design consistency in the syscalls provided makes it a pain to keep working at all)
The source code can be found at http://retroforth.org/download/8.2.5/rf8-dex4u.zip - perhaps Dex or one of the other developers there can help fix the bugs. If so, I'm open to updating the copy on this site.
Beyond this, I have no idea what changed in DexOS to make the cursor/text positioning break since I last updated this port, and the " issue is likely due to a non-standard keymap.

Well, I just started playing with Dex and since I'm not really an assembly guy I'd only use it if Forth was working. Someone on the Dex forums posted the link to the source code so perhaps someone will update the version.
